Cirencester is a vibrant market town in Gloucestershire, its said to be the ‘Capital of the Cotswolds’. This historic Roman town is just minutes from beautiful countryside, picturesque Cotswold villages and good road links via the M4 and M5 motorways. I visit Cirencester on a regular basis and even sell my images at a local craft fair in the corn hall, I knew I needed to capture a beautiful image of the town and in the end decided on this one. The image was ‘bracketed’ as I was facing into the sun so I need to utilize a number of different exposures and blend them in post production, waiting for the sun to move into the right position took a couple of hours, but worth it in the end, hope you agree.
Technical Information: Focal Length 33mm, Aperture f16, Shutter Speed 1/500 second, ISO64
