Ammonoosuc Falls

from £25.00

The Ammonoosuc River is a 55-mile-long river in north western New Hampshire in the United States. It is a tributary of the Connecticut River, which flows to Long Island Sound. Ammonoosuc is Abnaki for "small, narrow fishing place". Having visited a number of New England art galleries I saw multiple pieces of art dedicated to these waterfalls, have to say they took some finding as the Satnav really didn’t know them. When I found them though they were a photographers dreamland especially in fall when I visited. The colours were so vibrant I had to tone them down in the edit. Hope you like it.

Technical Information: Focal Length 27mm, Aperture f11, Shutter Speed 1/5 second, ISO64
